1. A nonrefundable deposit check in the amount of $500 or full payment must accompany this application to reserve your place. The balance must be paid before May 1, 2008. Exhibitors will not be allowed access to the exhibit hall unless all fees are paid in full. INFE reserves the right to cancel the Exposition in which case all monies will be refunded in full, except that in no event can our liability exceed the amount paid to that date.

2. To the full extent permitted by law, each exhibitor, in consideration of being granted space for its exhibit, agrees to defend, protect, indemnify and hold harmless, the Interactive & Newsmedia Financial Executives, Inc., as a result of or in connection with loss or damage to property, or personal injury or death, arising from or caused by the negligence or wrongful acts of the exhibitor or its agents or employees or in any way associated with such exhibit, unless such loss, damage, personal injury or death is the result of the sole negligence or wrongful acts of the Interactive & Newsmedia Financial Executives, Inc., or its agents or employees. Each exhibitor also acknowledges that it is responsible for obtaining insurance coverage in such amounts as it deems appropriate to comply with its obligations herein and for its own protection.

3. Exhibiting may not begin until the scheduled official start of the show on Monday, June 23, 2008.

4. Exhibitors may not accept cash, checks, credit cards or otherwise consummate a sale for products or services in the exhibit hall.

5. All sound equipment must be regulated so that it does not disturb the neighboring exhibits. INFE reserves the right to determine at what point sound constitutes interference with others and must be discontinued.

6. No exhibitor is to begin dismantling prior to June 24, 2008. Any exhibitor dismantling prior to this time will forfeit his company’s right to exhibit at future meetings of INFE

7. INFE reserves the right to order labor to set up any exhibit that is not in the process of being erected by 1 pm, June 23, 2008. The charge for this labor will be paid by the exhibitor. All booths must be set up by 2:00 pm, June 23, 2008.

8. Demonstration areas must not be placed on the aisle line of the exhibit if a crowd is expected to congregate at one time. Space must be provided within the exhibit area to absorb the majority of the crowd. Should spectators interfere with the normal traffic flow in the aisle or overflow into the exhibits of neighbors on either side of across the aisle, the show management will have no alternative but to request that the presentation be limited or eliminated.

9. In a standard linear booth, signs, decorations and equipment may not extend above the 8’. All display fixtures over 4’ in height and placed within 10 linear feet of an adjoining exhibit must be confined to the area of the exhibitor’s space which is at least 6’ from the aisle line. If the above requirements do not meet specific needs, it is suggested that the exhibitor request and island exhibit.

10. Exhibits cannot span an aisle by ceiling or floor covering.

11. Free form or island exhibits may have booth construction above the 8’ height. Unobstructed ceiling height is 8’. If large crowds are expected, entrances in the booth area must be provided to avoid congestion in aisles.

12. Advertising materials cannot be distributed outside the exhibitor’s booth.

13. Huckster-type promotion and lotteries are prohibited. Drawings and raffles are permitted with prior approval of INFE.

14. No signs or other materials can be fastened to the walls, doors, panels or backdrops.

15. INFE reserves the right to restrict at any time any display, exhibit or activity deemed unprofessional, inappropriate or not in keeping with the intent of the exhibition.

16. Booths must be kept clean. Debris  cannot be allowed to collect on the floor or display areas of the booth.

17. Use of electrical current is confined to lighting of the operation of such equipment that is harmless, noiseless and does not release undesirable odors.

18. The exhibitor may only use materials that will pass fire inspection by the local Fire Department. Drapes and curtains must be flameproof. Volatile or flammable oils, gases, grease, unprotected picture films or any other substance prohibited by the insurance authorities or the local Fire Department, will not be permitted in the building.

19. All electrical work and electrical wiring must be approved and installed in accordance with the regulations established by the officials of the local Electrical Department and the Underwriters Code

20. All Contractors hired by the exhibitor, other than those official suppliers listed in the Exhibitor’s Service Kit, must have authorization from the exhibitor’s company in the form of a letter, or be placed on the company’s pre-registration form. Outside contractors or their employees who are not pre-registered must pick up their badges in the exhibit office. They must show the letter of authorization or other proof of affiliation with the exhibitor.

21. Objectionable practices by exhibitors or official suppliers should be reported immediately and not after the show is completed

22. No children under 18 years of age are allowed in the exhibit area at any time, unless accompanied by an adult.

23. Only exhibitors with badges will be permitted to enter the exhibit area during hours of the exhibition.

24. Exhibitors will be allowed to attend all INFE-sponsored general sessions, and selected meal functions for which they have purchased tickets. Due to the nature and intent of several of the INFE sessions, exhibitors will not be permitted to attend. INFE management will inform Exhibitors of those sessions.

25. Booth fees include one Exhibitor badge, which will be required to attend INFE-sponsored events. Additional Exhibitor badges will be available at $600 each. Exhibitors will not be permitted into INFE-sponsored events without the required badge.

26. Exhibitors are strongly urged and encouraged to restrict after-hours hospitality suite, parties, receptions, etc. to those days and timed where there is no conflict with official INFE-sponsored events.

27. Exhibitors shall not be entitled to a refund for any reason should the exhibitor not be able to exhibit after April 1, 2008, except as provided in #1 above.

28. Show management shall have full power to interpret and/or amend these rules and to make any additional rules and regulations which in its best discretion shall be in the best interest of the Convention and Exposition.
