David Breashears
He is a
filmmaker and mountaineer. He has worked on more than two dozen
films, including
Seven Years in Tibet
and
Cliffhanger;
he has directed and produced IMAX films
Everest
and
Kilimanjaro;
and he is the recipient of four
National Emmy Awards
for achievement in cinematography. In the Spring of 2004, David
reached the summit of Mt. Everest for the fifth time.
He’ll take us on a journey using mountains, mountaineering, and
trekking as powerful cross-cultural metaphors to expand and
deepen our understanding of leadership and teamwork. We’ll get a
take on
his unique
use of the metaphor of adventure, and the lessons that can be
